This will be implemented as a component of Bug 735.  No need to have
two reports open.

1. BUG: the user can see in the dropdown also backends , to whose he
has no permissions

2. IMPROVEMENT: if the user had only one backend in the dropdown, it
should not be displayed and the user should directly see the directory
structure

thanks for the support ;-)

It is not solved. Yes, now I can choose from the server list.

- Logged as user from group1 (has access to server1 with 3 items).
After selecting server1 he can see "3 items" in the header and those
three items.

- Logged as administrator (has access to everything). After selecting
server1, he can see "3 items" in the header, but he doesn't see them
actually. He sees only  the message "There are no files in this folder."

This should be resolved.  Other issues regarding logins and/or
switching backends should be filed in Bug 735.

I've got turba with two backends - file drivers with fixed vfsroot,
empty home and with hordeauth. There are two relevant groups of users
using the portal. One group has all privileges to the first backend
and none to the second, second group has all privileges to the second
backend and none to the first. The problem is that the users from the
first group can use their vfs, the from the second group see only
empty page with:

[Root] 3 Items

There are no files in this directory.

If I switch the order of backend definitions in backends.php, then the
situation is reversed.
