About locking I must add.
When using the comment API every ?no replied? message is actually a
new thread in the forum handling the comments of your contact. So, if
you lock a thread, you actually disallow only the replying on the
selected message. But users can still comment as a ?new thread?. To
solve this, a forum level locking must be implemented. I don't have
plans for this right now. But it should not be difficult to add. On
the other side, it can be already done with the permission system.

thread is created instead of an answer to the thread. It is not
possible to answer to a thread from the contact page.
However, when blocking the thread (Sperren on german page), it is
possible to submit an answer (even if the thread is blocked...)
