It seems that all floated elements become blocks after they are floated. So when they are in DIV, DIV has no height. This very clear can be seen in mailbox header on Mozilla Horde theme with Opera and IE7. Attached patch removes unneeded clear class from BR and makes its height default. This way patch fixes DIV height.
