I thought Syncml was working already in Horde 3.0.x, no?
No.

I'm using Horde 3.0.9 on a production server. I can't really switch it
to head.

I thought Syncml was working already in Horde 3.0.x, no?

That line number isn't even close to matching the current code - what
version are you using? Can you update to current HEAD and see what you
get then? If you still get it, can you var_dump() the $sync object and
see what it is?

When I try to sync contacts with a P900 I get this in the PHP logs:

PHP Fatal error:  Call to a member function handleSyncItem() on a
non-object in /var/www/html/webmail/lib/Horde/SyncML/Command/Sync.php
on line 48

This happens after the second temp client xml file is created
(syncml_client_x.xml).

Using PHP 5.1.1
