IMHO it is a good idea to assume by default, the only address book
shall be used for that. I for example did assume IMP would behave
that way.
You can set a system wide default value for this preference, like with 
any other preference.

That is correct. Now that I have done that all the public keys in my 
address-book appear. (I'll review issues #2670 #2672 with the new 
settings and comment them if anything changed.)



IMHO it is a good idea to assume by default, the only address book 
shall be used for that. I for example did assume IMP would behave that 
way.



(Please, drop a line on closing this ticked whether I have to create a 
new one about the default behaviour of IMP/Turba.)

You probably didn't set a default address book to add new addresses 
(and keys) in your imp preferences.

Install the given IMP-version and Turba 2.0.3. Activate PGP/GPG-support.



Now, try to import some valid public keys.



IMP will always complain about "invalid address book".



It makes no difference whether an entry for the key's email exists.
