This is intentional, changes to remote calendars can't be tracked with our Horde_History system, so cannot be reliably synchronized.

Remote Calendars which are added in the web-UI are not available via CalDAV. I am not sure whether this is a bug, but it would be nice to have those remote calendars available on all devices without adding them manually to each one
