The problem is solved. A database table for active sync was not up to
date, sync log says that a column was missing. It seems to me, that
the plesk guys update only the parts from horde framework they have
integrated in plesk.

I've found a german description how to update horde framework in a
plesk installation
(https://www.infrastrukturhelden.de/microsoft-infrastruktur/office-365/von-office365-zu-horde-mit-activesync-teil-1.html#more-2441). After that I could update the database and the errors are
gone.

Thank you very much for your help and support!

Also, are all of your PEAR packages up to date?
We are using the horde installation which is shipped with plesk.
We've used Version 12.5 from Plesk, and i have now updated to Plesk
Onyx. Horde Framework is 5.2.11 now, but the problem has not solved.
It's very likely you don't have our most recent versions. Best to ask
the Plesk folks if they can be upgraded since this is not a Horde PEAR
install.

Your sample email renders fine for me using current stable versions
(see attachment).
I have attached sample mails, but I doesn't get the synclog to work.
It is configured (per Device), but no file will be created. Do you
have an idea, what the problem could be?
Make sure the path is to a directory and not a file, and make sure the
web server user has write access.
After the Update, I have now a new problem: every time I get a new
mail the account will be reloaded, maybe you have a hint on that.

FWIW, this Z-Push commit is irrelevant to our code. We already fetch
the plain body type or, if not available, convert it from the HTML
body earlier in the code path.

I cannot reproduce this.

Can you provide both an email that this occurs with and a sync log?

Probably happens when the client requests ONLY an HTML body in the
BODYPREFS but expects PLAIN text for the preview property.

The account is configured as Exchange account in iOS 10 in the mail
app. The body from HTML-Mails synced with activesync will be previewed
with non-interpreted HTML-Code, so the content is not readable. See
Screenshot.

When the mails are open, all content is displayed fine. The problem
exists only with activesync / Exchange accounttype, accouts with IMAP
or POP3 type display the mail preview correct.
