Cannot reproduce. Your sample vcard imported correctly for me locally. 
Sounds like Bug: 14046, which should be fixed in your reported version 
of Turba.

When trying to import vcf files (e.g. the example presented at 
http://www.w3.org/2002/12/cal/vcard-notes.html) everything but the 
mail address is imported into the address book.
I observed some irregularities during import of a larger vcf file. So 
I used the  attached, modified john-doe3.vcf. The mail address 
"johnDoe3@example.org" gets imported into the DB column object_email 
while object_workemail and object_homeemail remain empty. May this 
helps to narrow down the problem.
