No. This is the whole purpose of using the .local.php file in the proper way. If after reading the instructions at the top of mime_drivers.php you still have questions, please use the mailing list. This is not a support forum, but a bug tracker.

But if horde gets an update, the local file might be improper for the new version and break the whole service.

Yes. Properly configure mime_drivers.local.php. This is a support question, not a bug report. Please use the mailing lists to ask for support. http://www.horde.org/mail/ contains a list of all available mailing lists.

hi, When horde updates we get complaints by many users. Inline HTML display is turned back to OFF on update. Any way to make this particular value stick through udates? Thanks
