I should add that I have dozens of all day events on my Android
calendar that were created in Horde, and they display correctly.
There is the column event_status different in the kronolith_events
database table.
Events that are created in horde have the status "2" and the events
which are synced from android to horde have the status "4".
This column has nothing to do with the all day status of the event.
Also the event_alarm_methods is different even if both events do not
have an alarm, I don't know if this also may cause this strange
behavior.
DItto.

There is nothing wrong with the data being sent from Horde. In fact,
it contains the same values that the client sends when you created the
all day event directly on the client. If your client is displaying
this other than an all day event, the client is broken.

Sorry for the late reply!

Here is the sync log.

I created one calendar event in horde and one on my android device.

Jens

Please provide an actual sync log and example kronolith event settings
to duplicate.

To enable debugging, see instructions contained in the ActiveSync
section of Horde's configuration. Also, see
http://wiki.horde.org/ActiveSync for more details.

Debugging should not be enabled on a production server,   Attach/post
only the portion of the log that directly deals with the problem
reported (it may be simplest to clear the log file and then perform
the event that causes the error).

Hi guys,

I just upgraded from Android 4.1 to Android 4.4.4 and sync my with the
Exchange sync.

The calendar sync is fine, but all-day events occur as events from
00:00-00:00 instead of all-day events when they are synced from horde
-> Android.

But when I change that event and set the all-day marker on my phone or
when I create the event on my phone then everything is good also in
horde.

There is the column event_status different in the kronolith_events
database table.
Events that are created in horde have the status "2" and the events
which are synced from android to horde have the status "4".

Also the event_alarm_methods is different even if both events do not
have an alarm, I don't know if this also may cause this strange
behavior.

Is there a possibility to make the sync compatible with Android or is
this a bug in the Android Calendar?

I added an Excel export of my database. The first row is the event
created in Android and the second row is the event created in Horde.

Best,
Jens
