I'm afraid you need to track this down yourself then.
Does the sabredav-implementation have its own debugging settings?

Cannot reproduce. Do you get any error messages in one of the log files?
No. If there were any, I would have posted them.

We had the issue in two cases. We moved an old installation (IMP's 
version was 6.1.2) to a new server and the issue occurred. To check if 
it was not caused by the new server, we also upgraded the old 
installation on the old server and the issue occurred also.

Hi,

after upgrading our horde installation to the actual version, the ics 
files accessible via calddav contain no content any more, only 1 byte 
(a 'B'). In contrast, the export of the ics files directly from the 
calendar works fine.

OS: Debian Wheezy
PHP 5.4.39
NGINX / PGP-FPM
