Emojis are Unicode characters. You just need to use a compatible 
backend charset and a local font that supports them.
I didn't know MySQL needed a different utf8 charset. Thanks for the 
pointer and Happy New Year to you and the Horde project :)

Emojis are currently not supported which means that notes which 
contain them on a phone cannot be properly synchronised.
From within Mnemo, if pasted in the form field, we get boxes with a 
question mark in them.

So, it would be great if Horde could:
- support the full range of emojis, by using a special font in the 
browser maybe
- support the synchronisation of notes containing emojis.
