Thank you for your answer and your engagement.
I just organized my calendar in a different way since my last post.
Meanwhile the horde installation changed at work. Now I tried to
subscribe my posteo default calendar and it worked.
The ticket can be closed.

Thank you for your work!!

We need a test case that we can actually test and verify without
having to subscribe, and without and time constraints. Otherwise you
need to consider asking for paid support.

Yes you can, though I cannot promise when I will get to it.

Can you provide a shared calendar for testing? I don't plan to sign
up for a paid service to test this.
I have opened a test account but I don't like do write it down here in
public. Can I send you a personal mail? (I would take the adress that
is shown in the status email for this thread).

I have just one question on savety. Is it a security problem to
write down the password in the URL?
Yes, because the the URL is saved unencrypted in the preferences,
while the the password entered in the calendar dialog will be encrypted.
Does Kronolith send this URL readable to Posteo to login?
Yes.

Hello

I got some good news from posteo.

They found, that subscription works if you enter as URL

https://username:password@posteo.de:8443/calendars/username/default
whereas username is the loginname without "@posteo.de".

I have just one question on savety. Is it a security problem to write
down the password in the URL?
Does Kronolith send this URL readable to Posteo to login?

If the answer is "yes" I would be very happy if there could be another
solution.

Cheers
Ch. Mach

The posteo support told me, that you can registrate and choose the
cash-payment-option ("Barzahlung"). Afterwards you can just get rid
off the account by going to preferences ("Einstellungen") and choose
termination ("Kündigung").
Hope that it is not to much unconvenience for you. I would very
pleased if you can test the subscription this way.

Cheers ch.mach

Thank you for your fast reaction. It is very well understandable that
you won't sign up for a paid service.
Sorry, I can't provide a shared calendar for testing.  work. I wön't
give you my password for the service and with the "share"-Link
subscription does work. But with the share-option there is no password
safety any longer. Everyone who get this link can view my calendar. I
don't like this.
But I have contact to the mail-provider and will send them your request.

I tested this case with http://demo.horde.org/kronolith/ , which is
version Kronolith H5 (4.2.3).
I can see the same problem.

Hello,

I have a webdav calendar at posteo.de. I can subscribe this calendar
with lightning. But I can't subscribe the calendar with kronolith.

The webdav-address is build like
https://posteo.de:8443/calendars/loginname_without_@posteo.de/default .
This url is accepted. When I fill in the loginname (same as
emailaddress) and the password I get the following error:
The authentification information you specified was not accepted.

I tried it several times and so I'm sure that typos are not the
reason. The same authentification informations lead to success in
lightning.

I'd be very pleased if I can get some help.

Cheers ch.mach

P.S. The correct version number displayed by kronolith help is:
Kronolith H5 (4.3.0-git)
