This was worked around (as best as possible) in IMP 6.2. Better solution is to NOT use IMAP as the ingo backend driver.

Upgrade to a newer version first, this one only receives security fixes.

Number of unseen mails are not always shown in folder list after folder delivery filters have been applied.
