I cannot reproduce this with either the imagemagick or the imagick drivers. Weird behavior. It was consistently incresing the file size, I switched configuration from PNG to JPEG and then back to JPEG and it stopped. I would need to reinstall the whole VM to try reproducing again. "png to jpeg back to png" sorry typo

What does the EXIF data on the downloaded photo say? The exim file state it as 1.85mb

This is more a feedback than a enhancement, but I can't select feedback while making the ticket. I'm wondering why is the file liked with the "download original photo" much bigger than the one that was uploaded ? For example a picture I took with my iphone weight 1.85Mb ( even stated with the exim data ) but when I click on download original photo, the size of the file I download is 5.6 MB !? What happened with the orginal photo ?
