We already have an AJAX uploaded that supports drag and drop, you
just have to navigate to it. Not even the "big photo site" you
referred to in your other ticket allows drop to upload directly from
the gallery view.
Not from the gallery view, you're right, but from the feed view yes.
As soon as you drag a picture over the windows of the broswer dotted
area apear to show where to drop the file to either send to someone or
post of the feed.

Just though it would be great. Is it possible with the ajax to start
the upload automatically ? or why is it better with the need to click
on upload ?

My first reflex when I wanted to upload pictures to a gallery was that
while viewing the gallery just drap and drop my file in the large
white area where you can read "There are no photos in this gallery".

This could trigger an ajax uploader that would actually start
automatically to upload the file without having to click on upload.
