Short answer: you get it in your daily agenda, but birthdays don't
have alarms, so you don't get alarm notifications.

working on this' (#1511) but haven't succeeded in finding any trace of
a working birthday reminder in horde.
I did set 'Choose if you want to receive reminders for events with
alarms:' in the Kronolith properties to: 'On all shown calendars' but
that didn't do the trick.
Is it possible that my approach is wrong and I have to write a script
myself that does the birthday reminding without any hope that
developers with put that Turba/Kronolith interaction into the code?
