Please try this patch:

http://cvs.horde.org/diff.php/imp/compose.php?r1=2.801&r2=2.802&ty=u

I'm not sure yet if it'll be in 4.0.2 or 4.1. Opinions, anyone?

That breakage will no longer occur (in HEAD, will be merged once the
fix is verified). This still seems worth doing, though.

What i wanted to say in my last line was:

This is specially important, because having the same e-mail address with

diferent names, breaks s/mime and free/busy funtionality (only when using

them with the dup contacts)

I see a problem with that, when i send a mail typing the address ( i.e.

john@abc.com) it adds that address to the addressbook with the name
"john", if i

already have that e-mail address with another name (i.e. "john smith",
it duplicates

the address with different names. So finally i have 2 entries

Submit an enhancement request to search for all the email addresses first and

remove those that are found.
