I'm unable to reproduce this issue with any consistency, but on a somewhat regular basis my folder lists are compressed (see attached image). Refreshing the list doesn't seem to fix the formatting, but sometimes if I open a message in the folder then return to the folder the formatting will correct itself. I'm using Firefox 1.0.
