as described in this ticket the problem still exists. Defined fields
(phone numbers) between Thunderbird and Horde are not synchronizing
correctly.
Michael Rubinsky labeled my entry as a duplicate, as there is
obviously a common problem (
ticket #12501), which has got to be solved.Michaels last input concerning this topic dated back at the end of
July 2013 so that I want to ask, if there are any new realizings and
if the problem is going to be solved soon.
Do you need any help from our side for support?
Thanks for your short update.
Best regards,
Uwe

Bug: 12501http://bugs.horde.org/ticket/12501
I can confirm this behavior while testing CardDAV synchronisation with
my mobile phone.
I looked at the vcard which shold be imported to the server and the
corresponding line looks like:
TEL;TYPE=cell:01631234567
The value "cell" is written lowercase and that causes the server not
to import the phonenumber. If the line looks like:
TEL;TYPE=CELL:01631234567
the phonnumber will be nicely imported.
In rfc2426, page31 is described that the values of the parameter
"tel-type" are case insensitve, so lowercase values should be ok.

Stephan

if you try to create, edit or delete phone attributes in Thunderbird,
the changes are not effective in Horde.
Precondition:
-------------
- OS: Windows Vista SP1 32bit or Debian squeeze 64bit
- Thunderbird 17.0.7
- SOGo Client Plugin 17.0.5
- Lightning 1.9.1 for CalDAV
- Horde version 5.1.0 including Turba version 4.1.1
Following test scenario reproduce the issue:
--------------------------------------------
1. Create/Modify contact in Thunderbird with phone numbers for
private, business, mobil, fax and pager
2. Synchronize data with horde
3. Check Horde regarding the new or modified contact -> these phone
attributes are missing
----
4. Edit this previously created entry in Horde -> add phone numbers
[Pattern: +49 (123) 456789]
5. Synchronize data with Thunderbird
6. Check entry in Thunderbird -> Phone records were taken
Thank you for your support. If you need further information don't
hesitate to contact me.

Uwe
