Use an identity that doesn't contain a signature.
At Chemnitz University we upgraded to H5/IMP6 last weekend which was
very appreciated by our users. But the missing signature visibility
during composing is the major source of complainst. Of course adding
an identity is a solution, but is hard to explain to users.

Please rethink your decison here.

As bug #11660 is marked as "not a bug", I'd like to voice a feature request:

Since IMP 6, the identity's signature is added after composing the
message, before sending it. This was decided by the developers for
coding reasons, which I won't argue.

I'd like to have a UI option (i.e. check-box) to disable this on a
per-message basis, to the effect that the identity's signature is not
added before sending the message.
