original poster confirm this after updating the Horde_Date framework
package?
like it's a known issue that they cannot be serialized / unserialized.
http://us3.php.net/manual/en/function.date-create.php#81228
being completely initialized (or however it was worded).
Still having problems, but that looks like it is due to horrible
performance of DateTime vs Horde_Date
