If you go into your sent mail folder, select a bunch of messages, and then select "view messages", the combined messages appear as you'd expect. However since there is no "to" field, the "from" field is always you (as the sender). It would make far more sence to do one of 2 things: a) add a "to" field to the headers so that you can figure out which message is which, or b) when in the sent folder, make the "from" field a "to" field. We already know it's from ourselves so having a from field is mostly useless.
