We should check the actual permissions and not whether a button is enabled in the form, but it's a start.

This only works in basic view so far... Do plan to extend the patch to the dynamic view too? Yes, but it is getting more and more kludgy... I will post a working patch soon.

As mentioned on the mailing list, it is currently not possible to "save as" an event in your own calendar if the original event is in a shared calendar where you don't have delete permission. The attached patch tries to fix this: * the list of "target calendars" is shown in the edit dialog regardless of the "delete" permission. * the "save" button is disabled if saving in the currently selected calendar would require delete permission in the shared calendar.
