I found a not too horrible css hack for this. Should be fixed now.

How big an issue is this for folks? IE 5/Mac isn't developed anymore,
it's not the default Mac browser anymore, and it's pretty awful in a
number of ways. Is this a show stopper for Mac shops, or is
recommending Safari/Mozilla/Firefox an acceptable route?

The CSS engine for IE 5 for MacOS (both 9 and X) doesn't render the
"div / span" based horde layout properly.   So, the menu bar in all of
the horde applications renders as a verticle list rather than a bar.
