via javascript, not by a click.
I used this URL:
https://192.168.0.1/horde3/imp/?actionID=login_compose&to=test@test.de
The compose window only pops up if the user is loged in.
If the login page is needed the compose window does not pop up

you're using in Imp.reg to pass actionID=login_compose, though.
hidden form variable "actionID" is set to. Also, make sure that the
URL you're using from IMP.reg is correct; there was a missing slash
before the ?action=compose at one point. You might also try making it
be ?actionID=login_compose instead.
still does not open after log in .
I tried this Url
https://server/horde/imp/?action=compose&to=test@test.de
Imps asks for the logindata and then opens the inbox

The compose Window does only pop up when
- the user is already logt in
and the the Option show "inbox" after login in IMp is set
It dose not work when :
the user logs in or the Option is set show Folder list after log in
I testet with firefox 1.0 und Internet explorer 6.0
