changing to an enhancement and lowering priority as deleting 40
folders at once is not a critical situation.

A confirmation "page" might be the "only" way that makes sense then.
That'd solve the space/crowding problem, and allow a nice and clean
presentation of the folders to be zapped.

IMHO putting the folders right after the other is a viable solution,
though not elegant. The confirmation page is probably the
better/cleaner solution.

That won't work either because you still need to wrap somewhere;
you're just making the list harder to read and upping the limit. I'm
not really sure there's anything to do about this unless we make an
HTML popup instead of javascript, but then it's not modal. The other
option would be to show a new page with the list and have the user hit
another button, but that's not ideal either.

Suggestions?

I've been playing with the "folder manager" today. Went to delete some
35-40 folders in one go. When I had selected the folders, I chose
"Delete.." from the drop-down action list. I was presented with the
regular javascript alert/popup to confirm my actions. The problem was
that the OK/Cancel/etc was displayed off of the screen :-)

Perhaps the folder names should be listed left to right with a
separator that makes sense, instead of as it is now, one folder name
per line?
