This is clearly mentioned in the release notes as a known issue and has been fixed already.

Hi, The H3Beta sidebar is very need, ... Anyway, when a user logs in, the sidebar does not automatically check for new mails in the subscribed folder. Further, on login the folder structure does not appear, ... When a user views the folder structure in the main window, the mail for subscribed folders is still not checked, and the sidebar does not get updated properly. I tried many different settings, but I never could solve this issue. It would be very nice if it gets updated until final relese. Cheers Gerald
