Setting the preference to turn off the alpha filter will resolve this, then.

I finally hunted this bug down. I switched off alpha rendering and
horde became ~50% faster on middle range machines. And now I can get
into my INBOX.

When you have IE6 on Windows98 and some particular versions of DirectX
installed, IE6 can't handle png alpha script because of somekind of
memory leak. I will try to ask about this IE guys on MSDN.

p.s. IE5.x works well with alpha rengering switched on.

That's my point. I see no errors in horde/apache or any other related
log. Maybe there are people with Windows98 boxes that could confirm or
deny this bug?

I don't have a win98 box, so no. Need at least an error message or
something to go on, not a general description of a browser bug...

I can't view my INBOX anymore on Windows 98 machines (with latest
IE6SP1 and all patches). Internet explorer always hangs after quota's
box, but remains responsive and I can click on meniu and view other
apps.

mailbox view html code attached. It always hangs at the same place. As
you see from attachment it is IMP legend template's code. I tried
switching it off, but with no luck. Then IMP hangs in another place.

no errors in apache/horde logs.

Any suggestions?

p.s. using today's HEAD
