Duh!  switch, of course.

Here's Driver.php[2].diff...  It does everything with a nice and tidy
switch().

You should be adding a new function to turn a status constant into a
lowercase string and using that, implemented with a switch(), instead
of the repeated tests against each of the KRONOLITH_STATUS_* constants.

Added a few more if statements to short circuit test cases for a
majority of events.  Amounts to a minor speed enhancement.

Perhaps using diferent font: italic could be provisional, overline
could be canceled, and normal confirmed.

Any bright idea how to distinguish the states visually?

I think is importan to distinguish if and event is provisional or
confirmed (or canceled). When you have lot of event in a view you
can't open one by one to know it state.

Thanks
