Horde (or Kronolith) doesn't differentiate between local and remote
databases at all, so unfortunately this *must* be a configuration (or
replication) issue.

Horde is installed on one server (gloria).  This server is also a
mysql slave server.  It has a copy of the horde database replicated
from the master mysql server (carmela).    I can pull up a successful
kronolith session using either database server.  However, I can only
create new events using the local database.  There are no errors in
any logs on either host.  Since the databases are replicated I am sure
that the permissions are the same on both.  The horde user can
successfully login to the remote server, as well as the local host.
