view a per-user configurable portal-type ui, with blocks for
quicksearches, assigned tickets, requested tickets, queue summaries
(with links to view that queue), search, etc.
Outside the scope of this ticket, though, and I agree with Jan, so
this is staying resolved.

tickets and using My Tickets. At least this is how we do it most times
on bugs.horde.org.
But you can easily create a custom menu entry with config/menu.php and
pass the quicksearch parameters as GET values in the URL.

Being able to select the initial view of Whups is nice; from people
testing Whups here, I'm getting the question as to why there is no
simple way to get an overview of tickets without doing a search
(manually).
I.e. they'd like a "My tickets" that is "All tickets" (or an
automatically activated search, given a quicksearch parameter perhaps).
As it is now, one has to click on "Whups", "Search" (if that is not
the default view), click on a quicksearch and then go.. for a helpdesk
with many tickets, there'll be a lot of "clicking" to stay in tune.
