basically). Using IMP/DIMP to send a message (compose), when filling
in the address fields, the following DO work fine:
1) Enter part of a username or name which is in the address book.
2) Enter the full username or name which is in a different (non-local)
domain, but
which is in my address book.
What does NOT work is entering the full username or alias name for a
user in my local
domain who is in my address book.
For instance, if I have rebecca@yahoo.com in my address book, and I
enter either
"rebe" or "rebecca" it will autocomplete properly. If I have
rebecca@mydomain.com
(local address) in my address book instead, and I enter "rebe" it will
also autocomplete
properly. However, if I type "rebecca" instead, then it does not
complete. In this case,
"rebecca" is in the address book as the first name, alias, and as the
username part o
the email address, yet autocomplete fails to show any entries for it,
or fill in any value, etc.
Note the mail does get sent properly if I leave it simply as "rebecca"
(to the local
domain).
What I would expect to happen is that local names expand the same as
non-local names.
