Yes, that's how IMAP servers work. As soon as you open a mailbox, the recent flags are reset.

Is this the correct behavior? If I use the IMAP driver the new message popup never work? I don't know this. Sorry in this case and thanks.

I try to follow the code to see the cause of the problem without success. On page 'mailbox.php' the filters are run before checking for new messages, on the other hand I think all the calls to 'imap_open()' and 'imap_reopen()' are using the flag 'OP_READONLY' but when IMAP filters are running the messages lose RECENT flag apparently, and the popup window doesn't appear for new messages. I test the following versions: horde-3.1.5 imp-h3-4.1.5 ingo-h3-1.1.4 Cyrus latest stable release Greetings and many thanks.
