IMP works fine with any folder name. If you have problems with your
IMAP server, ask on the mailing list for support.

I Just created a folder which name should have been
"something.else.here" with that dot between the words. And I had a big
bug! No way to remove it from horde, some php errors in the left menu.

I decided to close firefox, and to start again, but then horde was
very long to appear, and was still connected to the same user!!

Horde + IMP + Turba + Ingo are installed on Ubuntu 7.04 Desktop and
are the last versions available from the actual repository, the mail
system is Postfix+maildrop+courrier-imap with mysql authentication
backend for mail users (and for horde/imp login)

I Would be glad to help answering any question
