Some clients export LDIF with windows newlines, attatched patch
allows import of these files.
RFC 2849 defines SEP:

SEP                      = (CR LF / LF)

Are you seeing something else?  aka lone CR characters?
I just put those in there 'for good measure'. Conforming to RFC, and 
matching only CRLF and LF should be fine.
