AFAIK, mediumblob is not a portable sql data type. We could use it for 
those rdbms that support it though.

Arrgh... I lost most of the images in one of my forms again :( I 
should have commited this patch a long time ago, so finally did this. 
It gives more bytes for an image in a database.
