No - since tidy 1.0 (the PECL module) is not supported. Only PHP 5 has built-in tidy support (version 2.0), and that is the only version supported. I did add a tiny blurb in INSTALL that this is for PHP 5 only.

According to document http://tw.php.net/manual/tw/ref.tidy.php : Tidy is currently available for PHP 4.3.x and PHP 5 as a PECL .... So i add some notes to imp/docs/INSTALL for mention it .
