$mime_drivers['imp']['html']['inline'] = true; MIME viewer settings are for viewing messages, not composing messages. When a message is replied or forwarded, the quoted message uses the "plain text" version of the message. In the quoted part of the message, HTML formatting is lost. If HTML is displayed inline and a message is forwarded with HTML GUI enabled, the quoted message should remain as HTML. No. This is what the 'reply_format' pref is for.

Sounds very similar to ~~bug 4792~~ and to other fixes Michael did in CVS recently...
