This is already fixed in HEAD.  To the extent this might occur in
4.1.x, I have fixed it there also.

The Img tag generated in the blocked image's stead contains:

src="/horde/imp/themes/graphics/spacer_red.png"/horde/imp/view.php?index=430&mailbox=INBOX&actionID=view_attach&id=2&mimecache=839732dbe4fb9a173835a6f6324a51fc"

This would-be argument contains an odd number of quote symbols, and
some excess  string content.

Rather, that  tag should read:

   <img alt=":-)" src="/horde/imp/themes/graphics/spacer_red.png">

i. e., the original (from the e-mail message) tag's src should be replaced

with "/horde/imp/themes/graphics/spacer_red.png", and the other

arguments left unchanged (except, perhaps, events, such as mouseover,

or onclick, which could be removed for safety). Note that, on the
original e-mail message, that tag reads

   <img alt=":-)"
src="cid:OS-200611151830-smile-gif@merkur.rz.uni-konstanz.de">
