BTW, I use a turba database where first and last name are two distinct fields (as discussed on the sync mailing list), in case it makes any difference. http://lists.horde.org/archives/sync/Week-of-Mon-20061002/001186.html

This applies both when syncing with Sony Ericsson P990, and when importing a similar VCARD directly in Turba. If a contact has two first names, the second first name will be set as the last name, and the last name will be lost. I.e. "First Second, Last" becomes "First, Second".
