How about the complete shot-in-the-dark commit I just made?  If that 
doesn't work, someone else will have to look at this because it isn't 
reproducible here.

Can't reproduce - and 'mbox' is defined on line 364 and identified as 
an 'if' element so I don't see why you would be seeing this.

Search INBOX for something that doesn't exist.  Result page will say 
"No messages match..." (fine) and output "<else:mbox></else:mbox>" in 
the HTML source.
