This is still a visual cue and can be done in the theme by modifying the cursor: property if a theme author/contributor really wants.

In all ways, where we have only two tabs - it is not clear to understand, what tab is active - dark one or light one... IMHO My theme is Purple Horde.

That's debatable, but I'd rather fix the themes. Can you list the ones in which the tabs aren't distinguished?

In search mode two tabs is available - Basic and Advanced. In some colour chemes it is not clear to understand - how tab is active, because both tabs are links, and only two tabs is available. I think, tab points to current mode is not shall to be a link. Then, the mouse pointer wil be a tip.
