Thinking about this further for about 5 minutes, it is plainly clear
that we don't need the dotfiles parameter anymore.  It has been
removed in 4.1.0 and HEAD.  These changes make the current ticket moot.

With the new namespace detection, does it make any sense anymore to
have a 'dotfiles' parameter  - since this is the exact purpose of IMAP
subscriptions?  UW imap issues are no longer a problem, which I
believe was why this was implemented in the first place.

When 'dotfiles' attribute in imp/config/servers.php is set to false,
the Folders section of IMP doesn't display dotfolders, but the "Open
Folder" pull-down menu in the top-right does.  That pull-down menu
should obey the 'dotfiles' attr and behave like the IMP's Folders
management component.
