Forgot to close this one: has been fixed a long time ago:

New Sync4j Mime Types are included.

It seems that the outlook connector of the 2.3 branch of sync4j uses
different mime types. These are not recognized by Horde SyncML.

For the time beeing, using the 2.2 version of the connector should work. See

http://wiki.horde.org/SyncHowTo

I'll have a look at 2.3 once it stops being beta.

regarding horde.log i get the following error a couple of times:

Oct 08 17:50:17 HORDE [error] [horde] SyncML: Error in adding client
entry due to replace request:Unsupported Content-Type: text/x-s4j-sifn
[on line 134 of "/usr/share/php/SyncML/Sync.php"]

and the sync4j outlook client freezes..

any ideas?

Are you sure you have the absolute latest code?
code is pretty up to date.

but it seems that the sync4j application is a bit buggy. first i got a
crash - after that i got the mentioned error.

then - after a restart notes and tasks sync are working fine.

now I have the following problems:

contacts synchronise successfully - but i don't see any contacts in horde ?!

calendar stops with the error "connecting to server" - perhaps 220
entries are a little bit too much for the application or the script
timeout is a little bit to low ?

any ideas?

Regards,

Florian

Hello,

I'm using the latest version of Sync4J (currently 2.022). Synchronise
still fails with the following error message:

13:49:07:658 [DEBUG] - Requesting resource /rpc.php

13:49:08:190 [DEBUG] - Message sent

13:49:08:190 [DEBUG] - Reading response...

13:49:08:190 [DEBUG] - Response read

13:49:08:190 [INFO] - Initialization done

13:49:08:190 [DEBUG] - response to inizialization-message:

<b>Fatal error</b>:  Unknown(): The script tried to execute a method
or access a property of an incomplete object. Please ensure that the
class definition horde_syncml_state of the object you are trying to
operate on was loaded _before_ the session was started in
<b>/usr/share/php/SyncML.php</b> on line <b>188</b><br />

13:49:08:190 [INFO] - The server alert code for Calendar is 200

13:49:08:190 [DEBUG] - url from response to inizialization-message:

13:49:08:190 [DEBUG] - Enter endOfFolderSync method

13:49:08:205 [DEBUG] - Exit endOfFolderSync method

Any hints what I'm doing wrong?

btw: version 1.4.3 of SyncClient Outlook produces the same error message.

Thanks for your help.

Regards,

Florian
