This is how every MTA on this world works. There is absolutely no
reason to do this in IMP.

Sorry,

i think you don't understand my question :-)

Fetchmail is for mail retrieval from pop servers.

But i want to send mail at a specified time:

Example:

I write a Mail in IMP, set the sending time to the next day.

The Cron Job runs over the Mail_Queue PEAR Script and sends the mail
at the next day.

This would be nice :-)

Regards,

Chris

Or just use a fantastic program out there called fetchmail that does
this with way more features and robustness:
http://www.catb.org/~esr/fetchmail/

See Bug 2464 for a similar request of functionality that is best
handled outside of IMP an explanations on why it won't show up in IMP.

Hi!

It would be nice to put Mails in a Queue and send it later via Cron.

The Pear Project Mail_Queue realise this.

Adding this to IMP would be nice ;-)

Chris
