As you are the only one experiencing this issue, it must be something on your end, for example a broken/misconfigured firewall or proxy. Nothing we can track from here.

Does this still happen with IMP 4.0.4? With IMP 4.0.3, it happens with all types of files. With IMP 4.0.4, it happens with .XLS types of files only. .XLS is interpreted as text/plain. Is there something wrong with /usr/share/misc/magic?

Do you see a request on the web server? No requests are sent to the web server. I'll check IMP 4.0.4 out.

This DOES NOT happen on Firefox 1.0.7, Fedora Core 3. Sorry, should read: This DOES NOT happen on Firefox 1.0.6, Fedora Core 3.

After attaching a file, I cannot send the message. Procedure: 1 "Compose" 2 Fill in To, Subject, Message 3 Select "Browse" in the "File 1" field. 4 Pick a file, click "OK", click "Attach" 5 Composition window reloads, says: 'Added "New File.xls" as an attachment.' 6 Click "Send Message" 7. Nothing happens, and all buttons are non-responsive after this point. This happens on Firefox 1.0.7, Windows XP Home. This happens on Internet Explorer 6.0. This DOES NOT happen on Firefox 1.0.7, Fedora Core 3. Installation: imp 4.0.3 H3 horde 3.0.5 using qmail+IMAP horde is using VFS setting of "Files on the local system" horde is using DataTree setting of "SQL Database" Incidentally, if you upload a file to the SQL Datatree, then pick the file from the datatree to attach, this problem still occurs.
