So the question is, why is $ie_clientcaps being set in login.php? Do
you have Firefox masquerading as IE for some reason?
It turns out our proxy was masquerading Firefox for some reason.

Yes, in fact -- "objCCaps is not defined" on line 49 of login.php (the 
line assigning to ie_version).

When users try to login to Horde (by typing username <tab> password 
<enter>), nothing happens.  Subsequently, the "Log In" button is 
disabled.



This seems to be a problem with enter_key_trap.js and associated code, 
but my JavaScript-fu is not such that I know how to fix this.



I'm using FireFox 1.0.2.  I've upgraded to the CVS HEAD of 
enter_key_trap.js and login.inc (revisions 1.2.10.1 and 2.80, 
respectively) and flushed my cache, and I'm still seeing this behavior.
