Thanks for the PHP error logging tip. That pointed me in the right direction, which was that I did not have a magic.mime file. My mistake ... horde did not have a bug. Please close this ticket, with my apologies.

Check your log files, enable error reporting/logging/diplaying in PHP etc.

When a file of unknown file type is attached to an email message (by clicking the attach button in the Compose window) the Compose window will not properly refresh. The browser window will go blank and both the fields in the compose window and the attachment section are not visible. Please let me know if further details are required.
