In fact, the problem was caused by safe_mode and the different
preferences of the browsers, which I used (so it appeared only on some
places). So you can close the ticket now/

And does autodetection work with all browsers on the login page?

Do the translations work fine otherwise?

No idea what to tell you. It works perfectly for me and obviously
everybody else. Do the translations work fine otherwise? Does this
happen with all translations, all browsers?

Yes, the preferences are stored in an SQL database and if the user
selects "properties" then the selected language is shown, but does not
have anz effect. I forgot to mention, that for login the imp/login
template is used and I am speaking for the case where no language is
selected on that template.

Works fine here. Are you sure that you selected a permanent
preferences backend, like SQL?

Hi,

After setting up "user prefered language" in the Horde framework and
trying to log in using Internet Explorer, I found out, that the
browser's prefered language takes precedence over the user
preferences, even if the choosen is saved as prefered.

   all the best, dilyan
